What types of intellectual property assets can be managed with Dennemeyer’s Intellectual Asset Management System, DIAMS?

With DIAMS you can manage patents, trademarks, designs, general IP matters including domains, oppositions, searches, and FTOs. DIAMS accompanies the entire lifecycle of an IP asset from filing, prosecution up to abandonment or selling/licensing, allowing customers to autonomously create and maintain their intellectual property rights, and to link them to license agreements, oppositions, infringements and other IP matters.

Which are the key tasks that can be performed via DIAMS?

DIAMS’ functionalities allow you to autonomously create and maintain your IP rights, perform comprehensive searches through your IP portfolio using various search criteria, create and export customized reports in your preferred format (PDF, XLS, XML, RTF, HTML), and effectively keep track of the procedures and deadlines connected to your IP assets using the docketing capabilities of our software.

More, with DIAMS you can link all the data and documents to your corresponding IP assets on a single highly configurable and secure platform that provides a common point of reference and allows you to manage your IP data efficiently (Master Data Management – MDM).

Which are the benefits of migrating from DIAMS classic to DIAMS iQ?

DIAMS iQ offers more up-to-date technology, a very user-friendly UI, an asynchronous reporting engine, flexible configuration options, and it’s faster and more powerful.

How long does it take to migrate from DIAMS classic to DIAMS iQ?

Usual projects require about one day.

Does Dennemeyer offer migration paths from other IP Management Systems?

Yes. Our migration team has vast experience in migrating from a variety of third party IP Management Systems, or proprietary systems.

Which terms and deadlines are automatically created by DIAMS?

Typically, our country law experts provide and update renewal terms in all supported jurisdictions. DIAMS can, of course, be configured with custom progression rules so that for any type of term in any country calculations can be made automatically.

Yes. The DIAMS iQ server prepares the report and notifies you once completed. In the meantime, you can use DIAMS iQ for any other tasks.

Can DIAMS iQ run on a Mac running Windows virtualization software? If so, which software would you recommend?

Yes, it can. We have good experiences with both VMWare and Parallels software. Certain limitations may, however, apply, specifically when documents are copied/pasted from the Mac environment into the Windows environment.

We cannot recommend cross-over solutions with Windows Bottle concepts.
